WE ARE COLLECTive
STATEMENT
COLLECTive is a small group of artists making work about landscape and human-nature relationships.
Exploring themes of land memory, place attachment, ways of seeing nature and human impact on the environment, we use our online space to share our work and experiences, showcase online exhibitions and promote artworks.
We CREATE, we COLLABORATE, we CURATE.
WE ARE COLLECTIVE
CORINNE WHITEHOUSE
Corinne is a portrait and documentary photographer. Exploring notions of home and family and our relationship to the natural world, she works primarily with analogue photography, which she processes at home in the kitchen sink. She lives and works in the South East of England and much of her work is about the place she lives and the people who live there.
HAYDEN WILDE
Working in primarily analogue processes, Hayden (b.1995) typically produces work that surrounds the topics of home, psychogeography and of the rural landscape.
Currently obsessed with exploring the fragility and consciousness of memory when forming an attachment to a landscape.
IANA MIZGUINA
Iana is a mixed-media artist based in South East of England. Her leading artistic practice is photography, video, sculpture and installation. She works with cameraless photographic processes, light-sensitive materials, bioplastics and 3D capturing. The main focus of her interest is the societal disconnection from the environment, the more-than-human ways of engaging with nature and the speculative narratives of what future interspecies co-existence might be. Her research is influenced by critical theories of nature classification and the works of Donna J. Haraway. Iana has taken part in numerous group shows domestically and internationally. At present, she is a studio holder and a participant at Conditions Studios Digital LAB Croydon, London.
